In the Classroom...

After the start date changed 3 times in the last few months by the "higher-ups", school has officially started in Camp Coq.  We thought it'd be best to follow the same school schedule as everyone else around here so the first week of our fall semester in home school is now underway!

John built bookcases for us...

...and they are perfect for our big binders and 'center' kits!

He really is becoming a 'jack of all trades' these days!!!

The desks were assembled with some help from the students!

And someone is particularly excited about having her own desk for preschool!

Cabila joins us each morning during his class break and then for homework in the afternoon.

Caleb does a good bit of work on the computer but he has some writing work, too...

Kylie wrote a short story about Pat the Rat this week...

...and she drew an illustration, as well!

When our preschooler isn't lounging in the teacher's seat, 

...she's learning a lot, too!

My favorite part of homeschooling so far is tag-teaming with John when he is here!  He is much better at science and history than I am and he totally rocked the science project with Kylie today.

Who said school can't be fun?!?!?  J
