This kiddo and some news....

Some families are forced to wait 2 years or even longer before their child gets to come home to them.

    We are extremely blessed!

Before the attorney meetings ended..
  before the countless appointments
   at the Immigration office halted...
before the Embassy appointments were finalized...
before the judge ruled on his birth certificate and
before we even knew his physical age,
            God made a way

...and this kiddo officially moved in with us 785 days ago.

Move in day 2013

But wait...  the good news worthy of celebration doesn't stop there!

Despite the fact that Cabila was one of us, by way of the Lord, we were told more than once that he wouldn't be able to travel with us outside of Haiti.  Through a looooooooooong drawn out process in so many ways, exactly 2 years and 8 days after Cabila joined our family, he was
---granted a visitor's Visa from the US Embassy here in Haiti!

That means he is FREE TO TRAVEL and visit America so...
in 4 weeks he will get to meet the rest
of his forever family.

To all who have prayed with us and supported our family through words of encouragement and monetary means thus far, thank you!  Please don't stop now... we look forward to continuing our journey with you while we take a break and enjoy some furlough time!
