With each new day, we praise God for you who are touching base and lifting us up through prayer and words of encouragement.
Yesterday, we were able to talk to Pastor Frank on the phone. He informed us that he received a call earlier in the week from LifeBridge Church. He stated that if he intends to continue receiving support from them for his home church in Homestead, FL and for the orphanage here in Camp Coq then he is expected to stand with LifeBridge Church in their decision in asking us to leave the Mission House and the community of Camp Coq.
The Leadership Team at LifeBridge Church offered us a severance package, with partial payment being contingent on our leaving no later than March 15, 2014.
While we can't begin to describe the emotions we are experiencing right now as a family, we still stand on the same truths we have shared with you over the last 362 days that we have been here.
God is faithful...
"He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he." Deuteronomy 32:4
God is sovereign...
"You are the one and only God, sovereign over all kingdoms on earth, Maker of heaven, maker of earth." 2 Kings 19:15
"The Master declares, 'I'm A to Z. I'm The God Who Is, The God Who Was, and The God About to Arrive. I'm The Sovereign-Strong." Revelation 1:8
God is good...
"Yes! God is good! His loyal love goes on forever!" 2 Chronicles 5:12
"Yes! God is good! His love never quits!" 2 Chronicles 7:3
God is trustworthy and He has not abandoned us...
"Those who know your name trust in You, for You, O Lord, have never abandoned anyone who searches for you." Psalm 9:10
Our prayers are with you all! As a word of encouragement through meditation, consider Paul's words to the Christians at Thessalonica: "23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it. 25 Brethren, pray for us." Rest assured guys, we are praying for you, as well as Pastor Frank, and for LifeBridge Church!
