There are several ways to contribute if you would like to help with the cost of the repairs. You can mail a check to
LifeBridge Church, Attn: Meghan Petyak, 521 Gluckstadt Road, Madison, MS 39110
and note your designation in the memo line of your check.
You can also make a
contribution on the church website: http://mylifebridge.com/onlinegiving.
There is a line listed for Haiti Missionary Support. Both of these methods are tax deductible and
will be sent to us by the church.
The third option is to wire money directly to us in Haiti.
We have found that MoneyGram is the most reliable service for wiring money from
the states to Haiti. There is a
MoneyGram office in most Wal-Mart stores, but please note they only accept cash.
You can also send it online at www.moneygram.com.
There is a transfer fee for both methods but it is typically cheaper at
Wal-Mart than it is online (2% vs 6%). They have a small form that you will
need to fill out in order to process the transfer. The information they will need
is our name and phone number. John will
most likely be the one picking it up so use his name, please. We can send you our phone number privately (email us @ circlinghaiti@gmail.com) or
you can get it from Meghan Petyak @ LifeBridge Church via email: meghan@mylifebridge.com or phone: 601.605.LIFE[5433].
After
the transaction is complete, you will receive a transaction number. We will have to have the transaction number
and amount in order to retrieve the money.
You can email us this information or text us
the amount transferred and the transaction number.
The guy came highly recommended and seems to be very proficient and knowledgeable. He came back this morning to see if we wanted him to take the truck.
We will continue to keep you updated and as always, we covet
your prayers!!!
If you do not need a tax deduction, you may also deposit into an account that my parents set up and manage for us in McHenry, MS. Feel free to contact us for the account information.
